Set to begin next week, with District Five Circuit Judge Joseph Loper, Jr. presiding, several cases will be heard during the fall term which is expected to start on Monday, November 4.
On November 4, Loper will hear the State of Mississippi vs. Kavian Wilkins and Marcus Landfair. Both Wilkins and Landfair are charged with two counts of burglary of a dwelling. Wilkins will be represented by Ray Baum, and Landfair will be represented by Vallrie Dorsey.
That same day Loper will hear the State of Mississippi vs. Willie Coker. Coker is charged with one count of armed robbery, one count of possession of a deadly weapon by a convicted felon and using a firearm in commission of a felony. Coker also faces a sentence enhancement for being a habitual offender.
