Nettie Lois Pickens Tullos, 85, of Jacksonville, N.C., formerly of Winona, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2013, in Jacksonville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate the services.

Visitation was Wednesday, October 23, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tullos was a former cashier at Cooks Department Store and Margolis Men Store in Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Tullos; her son, Keith Tullos, Jr.; parents, Earl and Nettie C. Elmore Pickens; her brothers, Jack Pickens, Lewis (Pete) Pickens, Harold Pickens, Bobby Pickens; and sisters, Mildred Butler and Dolly Pickens, all of Mississippi. Survivors include her daughter, Karen Maddox, and her husband, Jay, of Jacksonville, N.C.

Lori Richardson Hunger

A memorial service for Lori Richardson Hunger, 48, of Winona will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, at First Presbyterian Church in Winona, with Rev. Ryan Biese officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Friday, from 2:00 p.m. until service time.

Mrs. Hunger died at her residence on Saturday, October 19. She was a retired nurse and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Winona. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Harold L. Richardson and her mother-in-law, Charlotte Hunger.

Mrs. Hunger is survived by her husband, James Frank Hunger of Winona; daughter, Lauren Herbert of Vaiden; sons, Juston Herbert of Winona and Phillip Lee Dotson of Winona; mother, Sallie R. Richardson of Winona; sister, Kari Phillips of Winona; brothers, Brent Richardson of Winona and Phil Richardson (Shauna) of Memphis, Tenn.; her father-in-law, Shed Hill Hunger, Jr. of Winona; and several nieces and nephews.
