Ann Wenger, 76, died Friday, September 27, 2013, at Winona Manor Nursing Home in Winona. A private memorial service was held at the family's home.

Born in Howard County, Indiana to the late Glen and Mary Swope, Ann enjoyed spending time with her large family and especially enjoyed getting everyone together for meals at her home. She will be remembered as a loving mother but was most proud to be called granny. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include five daughters, Terri Boatman of Winona, Denise McDaniel and her husband, Allen of Kilmichael, Glena Kearns and her husband, Tom of Corinth, Texas, Vanetta McCormick and her husband, Andrew of Duck Hill, Phoebe Mayfield and her husband, Sam of Navarre, Fla.; two sons, Kent Wenger and his wife, Donna of Winona, Greg Wenger and his wife, Irene of Carrollton. Also a special nephew James Swope and his wife, Shana of Lee, Fla.; one sister, Nancy Emmons and her husband, Jerry of Lee, Fla.; 26 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
