Both the J.Z. George Jaguars and Lady Jaguars had second place finishes at last week's Mississippi State Invitational.

For the Lady Jags, coach Heath Dudley said the performance was a "so, so one," but the girls are getting better.

In the junior high race Dudley said Mariah Brewer and Dajie Fort had great performances and he was really proud of them.

For the boys, Dudley said through two miles they ran really well and then “fell apart.” Nakeveon Hardiman was second overall with a good race.
