MCCARLEY -- Funeral Services for Charlie Pauline Norwood were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Ed Roberts Chapel of Remembrance in Winona.

Mrs. Norwood, 92, of McCarley, died on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.

She is survived by three sons, Percy O. Norwood, Jr. of Carrolllton, Willie Norwood of Southfield, Mich. and James J. Norwood of Itta Bena; two daughters Laura Norwood-Davis and Alfreda Flowers both of Carrollton; one adopted daughter, Willie Mae Smith of Carrollton; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Burial followed in Leflore, Montgomery, Carroll Counties Memorial Gardens, and Rev. William Dyson, Jr. officated the services.

Visitation was held Friday, October 26, 2012, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Roberts and Sons Mortuary in Winona. The remains lay in state on Saturday, October 27, 2012, in the Chapel until the Funeral Service and were not viewed after the eulogy.
