Man charged in burglary case

County authorities arrested a Holmes County man in connection with an October burglary of homes in the Black Hawk area.

According to Carroll County Deputy Rob Banks, a man he identified as Cortavious Webster, 22, of Lexington was arrested Friday by Holmes County authorities and contact Banks. An outstanding warrant was also issued for Cassandra Lacy of Lexington. Octavious Horton was arrested in November and released on bond in Carroll County.

Webster is being held on two counts of burglary of an occupied dwelling.

According to Banks, the three were sought in connection with two home burglaries on County Road 75 and another on County Road 220.

Banks said a total of six guns were taken as well as other miscellaneous items at the Black Hawk residences.

On Tuesday, bond for Webster was set at 25,000 for each charge.
